Our Yellowstone Photo Safaris are all led by Brian Creek, a naturalist and award winning nature photographer who has been exploring the Yellowstone region for over 30 years.

Yellowstone is a wonderland with grand, sweeping, mountain landscapes, a super volcano with thermal features that include over half of the geysers on earth, and the best place to view and photograph north America’s majestic wildlife living as they have since the last ice age, in a wilderness haven of over 2.2 million acres!
Yellowstone is also one of the top bucket-list destinations for photographers and nature lovers from all over the world!
We know Yellowstone National Park and it’s wildlife intimately. Whether your interests are wildlife, landscape or generalist nature photography, we can put you in the best locations to make your best photographs.
First and foremost we want all of our guests have a safe, fun, magical, Yellowstone experience, and to leave us with great memories, and great photographs!
We will discuss your interests and goals with you before your arrival and work with you to craft the photography experience of your dreams. We offer nearly unlimited choices for photographers of all skill levels. Based on your interests and available time you can select adventures ranging from a half day to several days in length. Our guests range from professional photographers looking for a guide who understands their needs, through beginners just learning the craft.
Our specialty is working with photographers who want to learn new or polish existing skills while they are here. We can provide expert advice and instruction on everything from equipment selection and how to use your new camera, to advanced techniques for landscape, wildlife, night sky, macro, and travel photography.
While it seems to have become standard practice in the tours and workshops industry to call customers clients, but we won’t do that. When you book one of our experiences you will be welcomed and treated as our Guest. We know that there are many other excellent companies you can turn to that offer private yellowstone tours, many of them much larger and more well heeled than us.
We will help you become a better, more confident photographer!
Our business isn’t built around volume, it’s built on providing excellence in bespoke photography experiences and helping our guests become better, more confident photographers. We don’t offer canned Yellowstone tours with set routes and schedules that never change. Our bespoke photo safaris and workshops are custom crafted experiences made one at a time just for you. We do this for each and every guest.
Offerings
Full-Day Yellowstone Photo Safaris
While we tailor every experience to your goals and interests, we typically begin our bespoke photo safaris well before sunrise and go until we call a lunch break. We provide picnic-style lunch and/or dinner, or you can choose to eat on your own at a restaurant in the park or a gateway community. Lunch breaks are generally longer in the summer, such as noon until 2 or 3 PM because most wildlife take a siesta at midday. Our afternoon generally runs until after sunset when we return to our original meeting place.

Full-day Safaris available year-round, 8 – 12 hours
Year-round 1 to 3 guests, Summer $1095, Winter $1195
Half-Day Yellowstone Photo Safaris
Our half-day bespoke photo safaris are the same as morning or afternoon sessions of a full-day tour, but we will discuss this with you before your arrival. We’re very flexible and want you to have the best experience possible.
Half-day Safaris available year-round, 4 hours, 1 – 3 guests, $595
*Summer Season is 1 May – 31 October, Winter Season is 1 November – 30 April
Multi-Day, Bespoke, Photography Safaris – Available Year-round
Multi-day, bespoke, photo safaris, as the name suggests, are tailored to your unique interests. They may consist of two day trips through deluxe experiences including airport pickup, lodging and meals.
We love working with our guests to craft a bespoke Yellowstone Photo Safari you will remember for a lifetime!

General
We enter the park from Gardiner, Montana for all of our experiences. We can meet you at your hotel (or a locations in the park with advanced notice).
Groups are limited to no more than 3 people to maintain our high standard of individual attention. Participants must be at least 16 years of age. We will be in a 4WD vehicle with plenty of room for you and your gear.
We follow all local and National Park Service laws and regulations, especially as they relate to your safety and the safety of other park visitors and park resources.
We will not be climbing mountains or fording rivers, but we do not have vehicles that are H/C accessible and most of the places where we will go are rustic. Please plan accordingly and communicate your needs to us before booking. We are happy to make reasonable accommodations where we can.
Workshops
Workshops will be scheduled for set dates and cover topics such as fall colors, waterfalls, or winter wildlife. Watch here for announcements!
